Our editorial process keeps provider facts, automated data and application advice distinguishable. Read how sources, drafting, review and corrections support the reference you use.
Official sources for technical facts
Provider facts are sourced to official documentation, model endpoints or official status feeds. An aggregator can help discover a discrepancy, but the direct provider’s evidence takes priority for its own published terms. Technical claims should link to the source that supports them, rather than a generic homepage.
Automated updates and review
The data engine collects and normalizes provider records. Changes outside its review thresholds are held for investigation while the previous accepted value remains live. Parser failures and stale sources require attention; the source inventory exposes the collection state.
AI-assisted drafting and technical review
AI assistance may be used to prepare and revise editorial text. The publication review checks source support, provider-specific accuracy, request examples, missing facts and prohibited hardcoded values. A drafted example must not be described as an observed response unless it was actually run or is clearly attributed to a documented example. Human review is part of the operating process; the site does not invent a reviewer or claim a review that has not occurred.
What rankings mean
Price and context orderings describe database attributes. A capability-based shortlist is not an independent benchmark. We do not infer a universal strongest or fastest model solely from price, name or context capacity. Recommendations should state their task, evidence and unresolved assumptions.
Dating and changes
Publication dates reflect real publication. Modified dates change when relevant content or data changes. A successful source check is distinct from an editorial rewrite, and verification dates should identify the evidence used by the displayed data.
Corrections and takedown requests
Send the affected URL, exact claim or field and the official evidence through Contact. We investigate corrections and comply promptly with takedown requests. A useful report removes credentials, personal data and unrelated application material.
Commercial transparency
Advertising or other commercial relationships must be disclosed when introduced. A sponsored placement must not silently change a data ranking or be presented as an independent evaluation. The reference does not publish fabricated testimonials, credentials or authors.
Use the AI API cost calculator to turn the model and workload you are considering into an estimate.
Data reuse
Provider-sourced facts and source material retain their applicable provider terms and any original rights. This page does not grant a blanket open license to provider documentation, model assets or third-party material. Follow the source attached to a record and review the terms that apply to your intended reuse.
AI API Hub organizes and normalizes reference information to make its evidence easier to inspect. Attribution to this reference does not remove an obligation to preserve the original source, qualifying conditions or applicable rights. A Dataset link to this section explains that limitation; it must not be read as a Creative Commons license or a transfer of provider rights.
For permission concerning original site material, identify the material and intended use through Contact. Do not assume that an export, public API response or chart image carries broader rights than the underlying material.
